Singapore Sports School Opens Doors To Aspiring Sport Stars

2019 Open House

The Arena was exceptionally lively on a Saturday morning as student-athletes, parents and staff gathered for a final briefing and preparation of the long anticipated 2019 Singapore Sports School Open House on 13 April 2019.

Soon after 8.30 am, the visiting crowd began to stream in towards the registration counters and respective Sports Academies Showcases, Academic Programmes Showcases, Boarding, sharing and talks. Two different guided tour routes brought eager visitors to different stations in the school where student-athletes, parents and staff shared about the various programmes, experiences and answered visitors’ queries. The Open House was concluded with the Principal’s Talk in the Auditorium where Mr Tan gave an insightful sharing about the school and how our programmes are designed to maximise each student-athlete's potential and support them in pursuit of their sporting dreams.

The Open House saw a good attendance of Primary and Secondary School students and parents. The event was brought to a success with the support from Sports School's student-athletes, parent volunteers, sponsors, staff and everyone who had attended the event.
