Information For Returning Singaporeans
Returning Singaporeans with outstanding sport achievements and potential can apply for admission to our secondary programme or one of our post-secondary programmes via form below:
For admission to Secondary 1
For mid-stream admission to Secondary/ IBDP/ Polytechnic
As Sports School is a specialised independent school, we conduct our own placement tests in subjects such as English and Mathematics to determine the appropriate academic level to place Returning Singaporeans. MOE’s SPERS-Sec or SPERS-JC/MI is not required.

Information For Non-Singaporeans
International Students and Singapore Permanent Residents with outstanding sport achievements and potential in Badminton, Bowling, Fencing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis or Track and Field can apply for admission to our secondary programme or one of our post-secondary programmes via form below:
For admission to Secondary 1
International Students should not be more than two years older than the appropriate age for the education level that he/she is seeking admission to. For more information, please refer to: https://www.moe.gov.sg/international-students/studying-in-singapore
Shortlisted applicants will undergo:
- Sport selection trials,
- Academic assessments (for applicants currently not studying in a mainstream school in Singapore),
- Interview(s) by a panel from Sports School, and
- Medical screening
Upon acceptance of invitation to attend the sport selection trials and academic assessment, the following fees are payable upon arrival at Sports School

Payment Methods
Payment can be made in Singapore currency, by cheque (from Singapore local bank), NETS, credit/debit cards (American Express, Mastercard or Visa), FAST, Telegraphic Transfer or PayNow.

- For both FAST and PayNow, under “UEN/Bill Reference No.” which allows up to 25 characters, type the student’s name and last 4 alphanumeric characters of NRIC (for Singapore PRs) or Passport (for International Students). e.g. Kevin_Jones_321J
Any bank charges incurred for payment shall be borne by the student’s parents.
Parents of International Students are required to provide the child's caregiver's particulars to the school. The caregiver should be:
- parent of the child if the parent is residing in Singapore, or else,
- a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident who is above 21 years old and residing in Singapore.
The caregiver must be contactable by the school as he/she is responsible for the child under his/her care. Changes in the caregiver or his/her particulars must be reported to the school immediately.
