Just two weeks later, the fighting spirit of our junior fencers was on full display at the Singapore Cadet Nationals 2024, held from 26 to 27 October. Team Sports School earned 8 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 6 bronze) at the local competition.

The only gold medal was clinched by Benjamin Lee Shijie, who delivered an outstanding performance in the Cadet Men’s Epee category. His hard work and dedication were evident as he navigated the tough competition to claim the top spot.

Meanwhile, Jaida Quah continued to impress by earning a silver medal in the Cadet Women’s Sabre event, further establishing herself as a formidable competitor in the sport. The medal tally was bolstered by several other talented fencers who earned joint bronze medals in their respective events including Isabelle Lee Ern Swan and Lee En Qi in Women’s Epee, Thaddaeus Ted Lee in Men’s Foil; Sarah Koh Ya Qi in Women's Sabre; and Cameron Alexander Tan Soliano and Ashton Auw Sen Hon in Men’s Sabre.
