Simple Affair To Mark 17th Birthday

2 April 2021 was marked a Good Friday as Singapore Sports School officially turned 17. The Sports School continues to forge ahead in improving how student-athletes are supported in their pursuit of their sport and academic aspirations.

Student-athletes and staff commemorated the School’s 17th Anniversary on the morning of 1 April with a message from Principal Mr Ong Kim Soon over the Google Meet platform, followed by a video interview of two Sports School coaches Geraldine Ng Jie Hui (Netball Academy) and Rafiuddin Sawal (Track and Field Academy), both of whom were from the pioneer batches of student-athletes. The heart-warming interview included stories reminiscing the past and their hopes and wishes for the school and student-athletes.
