In Pictures: National Day Celebration
On 8 August 2023, the School Auditorium bathed in a sea of red as student-athletes gathered to celebrate Singapore's 58th birthday. It was extra meaningful this year as our friends from Woodlands Gardens School joined us in the festivities, both on and off the stage.
The National Day celebration commenced with flag bearers from Sports School and Woodlands Gardens School marching into the School Auditorium.
Students from both schools sang the National Anthem and recited the pledge with pride and passion.
Students from both schools were united through music and dance performances and community singing.
Dr Teo-Koh Sock Miang, President of Singapore Disability Sports Council, Mr Kelvin Koh, MINDS CEO, Mr Ong Kim Soon, Principal of Singapore Sports School and Ms Aslinah Ahmad, Principal of Woodlands Gardens School, pasted their well wishes for Singapore on the collage board and led the cake-cutting ceremony on-stage.
