Confidence Boost For Young Bowlers At Fukuoka

U22 5th Fukuoka Summer Cup Bowling Tournament 2019

Singapore Sports School lower Secondary bowlers showcased their skills at the U22 5th Fukuoka Summer Cup Bowling Tournament 2019, held from 7 to 11 August. Their achievement throughout the tournament gave them a confidence boost as 7 out of 8 bowlers had qualified for the U15 Masters Final.

Secondary two bowlers, John Faragalla Yong Ming, finished the U15 Masters event in third place, behind Japanese opponents, with a total pinfall of 1734. John has also topped his compatriots as the as the top Singaporean bowler in the event. In the same tournament, Year 2 post-secondary student-athlete, Nu’man Syahmi Yusri, came in fourth place in the U22 Masters Final event.
