National Day
We came together as a school to celebrate Singapore’s 59th birthday on 8 August 2024 and were joined by our friends from the Woodlands Garden School. The celebration was all it was hyped up to be. The sea of red that flooded our Auditorium were treated to a wonderful surprise in the form of a performance by our very own alumnus Benjamin Kheng, who was also this year’s voice behind the National Day song, “Not Alone”.
Our student-athletes and staff helped our friends from Woodlands Garden School feel right at home before the celebrations began. There was a colouring activity and also the pasting of temporary tattoos to get everyone concert-ready.
Bright and excited faces flooded the Auditorium in anticipation of the celebrations.
Our talented student-athletes did more than just entertain! They got the celebrations started and got everyone in the mood for a joyous occasion.
It’s Benjamin Kheng! Our alumnus wowed the crowd with his surprise performance of this year’s National Day song “Not Alone”.
Our Secondary 1 student-athletes also brought the beat to the crowd with their drumming performance. They have been practicing since early this year and their performance rocked heartbeats!
We also sang the National Anthem loud and proud to commemorate our nation’s birthday.
It would not be a celebration without a sing-a-long session. Kudos to our student leaders who got everyone to sing along with popular National Day tunes!
