Raining Medals For Team Sports School At Pesta Sukan

Pesta Sukan – Pencak Silat, Track and Field, Water Polo

Student-athletes from Pencak Silat, Track and Field, and Water Polo enjoyed their time and found success when competing in the ActiveSG Pesta Sukan this year. Held from 27 July to 4 August 2024, our student-athletes came prepared and played their hearts out, winning medals and gaining precious experiences.

Our talented Pencak Silat warriors brought back a remarkable haul of 11 medals, including 6 gold medals. Team Sports School once again shone in the battle arena. The gold medallists are Adrabella Nurieshtiara Rahmat, Aleesa Hanin Abdul Rahim, Danial Hariz Rizal, Mohammad Ridzqi Mohammad Fadzil, Nur Aniqah Qistina Roslan and Tuah Iskandar.

Our lower secondary trackers secured an impressive total of 9 medals over the two action-packed weekends.

A standout performance came from Secondary 2 tracker Mohammed Thamir Khairan Mohammed Faduli, who not only claimed a gold medal in the Boys' U15 400m Dash but also set a new personal best. Eshan Shayaan Ahmed Ridzwan also made waves with a solid double-medal haul. He clinched gold in the Boys' U15 200m Dash and followed it up with a silver in the 100m Dash.

Yunus Adam Sim from the Multi-Sport Academy proved his all-around athleticism by securing a silver medal in the long jump. He further contributed to the team’s success by helping his Track and Field teammates earn a bronze medal in the relay event.

Our all-Sports School water polo team, comprising 12 talented boys from Secondary 2 to 4, emerged victorious after a series of intense matches. Their journey to the final was marked by determination, teamwork, and an unyielding fighting spirit. Our boys managed to win all their playoff stage matches to secure a place in the final.

In a thrilling final match, our boys demonstrated exceptional teamwork and fighting spirit, securing a hard-fought 9-7 victory against the formidable Aegir team.
