Sarawak Premier Cup, Sarawak Amateur Open, 29th EFG/SICC Junior Invitational Golf Championship 2022
Having tasted success in several competitions in November, Jillian Kuk Jia Lin (IBDP, Year 6) and Chen Xingtong (Secondary 3) are hungry for more achievements this month. They continued their fine form on the golf course and played a stable game at the 29th EFG/SICC Junior Invitational Golf Championship 2022.
Over the competition held from 6 to 8 December 2022, Jillian and Xingtong played against other top golf talents from around the region at the Singapore Island Country Club, emerging second in the Girls ‘A’ and Girls ‘B’ categories respectively.
Earlier on at the Sarawak Premier Cup held in Malaysia from 29 November to 1 December, Jillian also put up an outstanding performance to win third place on the leaderboard, while Chloe Ng finished in a commendable fourth position. Also at Malaysia, Diploma in Business Year 2 student-athlete Nathen Tan did us proud by clinching 2nd place in the Sarawak Amateur Open held from 4 to 6 December 2022.
