A Superb Showing At National Grand Finale
National Table Tennis Grand Finale
A whopping 417 players took part in this year’s premiere table tennis tournament – National Table Tennis Grand Finale. The tournament which took place from 30 January to 5 February 2023 was also a treat for our budding paddlers to compete alongside national paddlers who have been making waves in the table tennis scene.
Our past and present student-athletes who competed did not disappoint. They showcased skill and indomitable will to win match after match and dominated the podiums after clinching all the titles on offer. Among the winners were alumna Zhang Wanling and post-secondary student-athlete Beh Kun Ting who won the Women’s and Men’s Singles respectively. Alumni Wong Xin Ru and Goi Rui Xuan won the Women’s Doubles and the former paired up with alumnus Koen Pang Yew En and emerged top in the Mixed Doubles category. Koen Pang took home another gold medal when he paired with rising star Izaac Quek Yong for the Men’s Doubles event.
Well done to all participants and winners!
