NUS Invitational Shoot 2024
Our shooters put up a sharp-shooting performance at the NUS Invitational Shoot 2024 held from 25 to 28 February 2024. Against tough opposition, they held their own and calmly sent rounds accurately down the range.
Trio Faithe Odelia, Soh Yi Wei, and Jillian Su kept their cool and amassed a total of 1852.5 points in the 10m Air Rifle Women’s Team (Open) to clinch the top spot – inching 6 points clear of 2nd place team from NTU.
Tang Hong An was another steady hand on the range. Hong An scored a total of 627 points to top the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Individual (Open) event. He then joined up with Eston Soo and Jesper Lim – and the sharpshooting trio scored a total of 1853.7 points to steer clear of the competition at the top spot in the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Team (Open) category.
Two more 1st-place finishes were contributed by Au Yong Yi Yong, Lee Zhe Kai and Lim Hong Rui in the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Team (School); and Samantha Cheng, Chloe Tan, and Quek Gek Ling in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s Team (School) categories.
