Debbie-Miya Duo Scores Duet Best

2019 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series French Open

The more they get together, the better they’ll be. That’s the way it is for artistic swimming duo Debbie Soh Li Fei and Miya Yong Hsing, who scored 77.1667 points to finish 13th in the Duet Free Routine at the 2019 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series French Open on 28 February. Their score surpassed the previous best of 74.0333 points at the 2017 French Open. Debbie and Miya had also scored 74.6926 points to finish 12th in the Duet Technical Routine.

The two alumnae had contributed 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals to Team Singapore’s medal tally at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 Southeast Asian Games. They had won the Duet Technical Routine and Team Free Routine gold medals, and the Duet Technical Routine silver medal. Together, the duo make a formidable synchronised team.
