It was a gruelling but exciting five days for Nicholas Chong Xin Le (Diploma in Business, Year 2) who joined the SEA Games-bound cyclists for the Tour of Terengganu in North Malaysia. Over the race from 21 to 25 March 2022, Nicholas travelled a total of five legs, with each leg in excess of 120km. Cyclists had to complete each leg within twenty per cent of the winner’s time in order to ride the following day. While he struggled during the 2nd and 5th legs, Nicholas managed to hang on with the main peloton for Day 1, 3 and 4. The experience was a confidence booster for his upcoming race in the Tour of Thailand race in Mukdahan, a Union Cycliste Internationale race.
