All-Around Titles and Excellence At Singapore Gymnastics National Championships

Our past and present gymnasts floored judges at the Singapore National Championships 2023 held from 9 to 19 March 2023 at Bishan Sports Hall. Team Sports School collected an impressive 48 medals at the event.
In Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, up-and-coming gymnast Jovi Loh Jia Le, a Secondary 3 student-athlete, pocketed 7 medals at the competition, making him the biggest winner from Sports School. He clinched the Junior Individual All-Around title and topped the Floor, Pommel Horse and Parallel Bars events. He will represent Singapore in the upcoming World Artistic Junior Championships in Antalya.
Team Sports School also took the top honours in the Senior category, with alumnus Kaeson Lim Junyi clinching the Senior Individual All-Around title. Kaeson, who will be representing Singapore at the 32nd SEA Games, also won 2 gold medals in Floor and Rings, a silver in High Bar and a bronze in Pommel Horse.
Secondary 2 gymnast Xavier Pang Sheng Wei edged out fellow team mate Nathanael Pek Sek Kai in the Stage 5 event, while Sports School debutant Aiken Tang soared high to clinch gold in the Stage 4 event.
In all, our artistic gymnasts claimed 19 golds, 15 silvers and 8 bronzes.
In the rhythmic gymnastics competition, our gymnasts faced stiff competition to walk away with a total of 4 golds, a silver and a bronze. Claire Ng Xin Xuan and Faith Hong Haye received praise for their fine performances on the second day of competition, which earned them a medal in their Ribbon routines.
Secondary 1 diver Tyler Lee Dee Oon showed his versatility by participating in the Trampoline competition. He stunned his competitors by finishing with 2 gold medals in the Individual and Synchonised Male Level 2 events.
