Marksmen Shooters On Target At NTU Invitational Shoot
NTU Invitational Shoots
Our past and present shooters were fired up and put up an amazing performance at the NTU Invitational Shoot held at Safra Yishun from 28 February to 5 March! Our shooters maintained their composure on the firing line and collected a total of 18 individual and 18 team medals from both the pistol and rifle categories.
Secondary 4 pistol shooter, Clarice Lee Shan Rong, took 1st place in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s Individual (Cat B) category and helped the Air Pistol Women’s Team (Cat B) to secure 3rd place. The same trio consisting of Clarice, Chloe Tai Xin En and Samantha Chen Xin Tong then went on to secure 2nd place in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s Team (North Zone) category.
In the air rifle categories, our alumni shooters also displayed great composure when Fernel Tan Qian Ni, Ho Xiu Yi, and Adele Tan Qian Xiu secured a 1-2-3 finish in the 10m Air Rifle Women’s Individual (Open) category. The Men’s teams were also not to be outdone and swept the top 3 spots in the 10m Air Rifle Team (North Zone) category.
The amazing results earned Singapore Sports School the challenge trophy as the overall winner for school category.
