Teacher Teo Song Kang Wins Silver In Dragon Boat Race
2021 Senior Dragons
The International Dragon Boat Community in Singapore staged the 2021 Senior Dragons competition in an effort to increase participation in the sport. The competition was scheduled to take place on 1 and 26 May 2021, with the latter date cancelled due to stricter COVID-19 measures.
The competition attracted at least eight teams from locals and the expatriate community. Singapore Sports School teacher Teo Song Kang, from the Sport Development department, was part of the five-man Sea Hawk Club that represented Taman Jurong Community Club on 1 May. Held at Kallang River, his team finished with a silver medal in the 200m Open event.
