Celebrating Hari Raya In Style
The School Auditorium burst with life and laughter on 11 May 2023 when we celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri the Kampung Champions Way. Student-athletes learnt more about Malay culture and Eid through traditional performances such as Kompang and Dikir Barat and a skit put up by Malay student-athletes.

A grand entrance into the Auditorium!
The Kompang is a very popular Malay traditional instrument. Our students used this hand drum in a large Kompang ensemble, playing various rhythmic patterns in an entertaining display of skill and technique.
Wardrobe malfunction? It’s okay…because it’s all about teamwork when preparing for a performance.
Ready and raring to go!
An educational presentation was given to our student-athletes on the significance of Hari Raya.
Student-athletes turned actors! Our student-athletes performed a skit, acting out the typical activities done during Hari Raya.
There was also a fun kahoot quiz for our student-athletes to win some prizes!
The morning assembly ended with an upbeat Dikir Barat performance where both student-athletes and staff clapped along to the beats of our performers.
The lively performance set the mood for the day!
The team behind the colourful Hari Raya celebrations did a fantastic job!
