Footballers Taste Victory At JSSL League
JSSL Singapore National Youth Leagues – U14
Our footballers are the champions of the JSSL Singapore National Youth Leagues Boys U14 Division 1! They have done us proud by clinching the top spot in the league, having faced 6 other top youth teams since January 2024.
After six games, our footballers can hold their heads up high for being undefeated in the league. They amassed 36 goals in total and only conceded 3 – finishing the league with 16 points.
“The feeling of winning is a blessing for the whole team drives home a sense of achievement. We have trained hard and the strong bond in the team shows on the pitch. A special mention to our coaches for motivating us and giving us the confidence to play on the field. The different strategies and tactics that we managed to try out against the other teams also helped us to get the results we wanted.
In my opinion, all of my teammates have played their hearts out and performed well in this competition. I’d like to highlight Anders Lum, Muhammad Dafi Fitri and Benaiah Joel Wangke. Anders has been a good captain for us throughout the competition. Dafi and I played really well together, and Ben was always alert during the games and he always encourage me to play better,” replied Muhammad Eshan Darwish Herwan when asked about his thoughts on the competition.
Our footballers can take heart knowing that this victory came at the early stages of their football careers and they can look forward to more successes to come. Hala, Sports School!
