Celebrating The Graduating Class Of 2019

2019 Graduation Ceremony

On 27 September 2019, parents, staff, student-athletes, and Guest-of-Honour and Board Member, Mr Chris Chan, gathered to witness a momentous occasion of the graduation class of 2019. All eyes were on the graduating batch of student-athletes, consisting of Secondary 4, 5 and IBDP student-athletes at the Singapore Sports School Auditorium.

The afternoon graduation ceremony commenced with Principal Mr Tan Teck Hock congratulating some of our student-athletes for their outstanding sport achievements and representation at the Philippines 2019 Southeast Asian Games. He also shared his well wishes for the graduating class of 2019 and encouraged them to continue to demonstrate the Champion’s Mindset as Learned Champions With Character, a DNA in every Sports School student-athlete.

Valedictorians Max Neo Wei Kit (representing Secondary) and Rishika Ghanamoorthy (representing IBDP) both shared their fond memories as student-athletes in the Sports School. They also showed their appreciation to their teachers, mentors, and parents who have been their pillar of support in every aspect of their life.

Last but not least, Guest-of-Honour and Board Member, Mr Chris Chan, also gave words of encouragement and well wishes to our student-athletes.

The graduation ceremony reached its climax with a skit and songs put together by our teachers, before the school sang the School Anthem with pride and passion.
