Exciting Beginnings For 2025 Batch!
P6 Sports School Orientation Camp 2024
From 14 to 16 October 2024, the P6 Sports School Orientation Camp provided an unforgettable experience for our incoming Secondary 1 student-athletes. With a well-structured and fun-filled programme aimed at fostering camaraderie, the camp marked an exciting transition, giving them a glimpse of the Sports School experience and preparing them for Secondary 1 next year.

Undeterred by the heavy downpour, the P6 students checked into boarding and quickly warmed up to one another, ready to spend the next 3 days and 2 nights forming new bonds during the P6 Sports School Orientation Camp.

The camp kicked off with Principal Ong Kim Soon extending a warm welcome to the P6s. Assistant Director for Boarding and Business, Joshua Sing, also addressed important safety rules the students must follow during their stay.

The P6s immersed in lively ice-breaker activities designed to help them get to know one another. Students engaged in fun games that broke down barriers and set the stage for lasting friendships.

Following the ice-breakers, the students spent time with their respective academies, engaging in training sessions and bonding time.

Day two brought an exhilarating mix of teamwork and adventure. The morning was spent engaging in rhythmic paddling of the dragon boat activity, where students learnt the importance of teamwork and cooperation on the water.

In the afternoon, the Amazing Race challenged students with a series of fun and engaging tasks near Kallang Wave Mall. Teams navigated various checkpoints, completing games that tested their problem-solving skills and teamwork. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air, as students cheered each other on.

The final day featured an array of station games that encouraged teamwork and friendly competitions. The energy was palpable as they cheered for their peers, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and celebration.

After an action-packed day, students returned for more bonding activities with their academies. They also reflected on their experiences and expressed their excitement for the journey ahead.

The camp concluded with the P6s reuniting with their parents at the Auditorium. They enjoyed a heart-warming montage that captured the unforgettable moments during the camp. Principal and members of the Sporting Parent Network also led the sharing sessions, leaving students eagerly anticipating their new chapter in Secondary 1.
