Brandon’s Made It!
Acceptance to Harvard Business School Club of Singapore (HBSCS) Mentorship Programme 2021
Brandon Norton, a Track and Field student-athlete in the Diploma in Business Studies programme, has been accepted to the prestigious Harvard Business School Club of Singapore (HBSCS) Mentorship Programme 2021. Brandon is the first student from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s business programme to be offered this opportunity in the mentorship programme.
HBSCS partners universities and polytechnics to offer the mentorship programme for students in their penultimate year. The programme aims to provide a meaningful mentoring experience focussed on personal and professional development of students over a eight-month period. A record number of applications were received this year. The programme will kick-off with an event on 2 October 2021.
Brandon feels privileged to be accepted to the programme. He said, “I am very grateful to be given the opportunity in the first place. I understand it is not everyday that students are offered the opportunity to attend such valuable programmes, even more so during the pandemic where restrictions are become more pertinent.” Brandon is looking forward to learning and growing through the mentorship programme. “I hope to become a more resourceful and well informed person when it comes to overcoming problems and understanding the world’s topics of discussion. And more importantly, come away with a few new friends.”
