2023 Negeri Sembilan Athletics Championships
Past and present student-athletes blazed the track at the 2023 Negeri Sembilan Athletics Championships in Malaysia. They achieved remarkable success, winning 4 medals (2 gold, 2 silver) during the two-day competition from 2 to 3 September 2023.
IBDP Year 5 student-athletes Audrey Koh Shun Yi was a standout performer at the Championships. She secured a gold medal in the Women's 800m run, setting a new season and personal best record in the process. She was also garlanded a silver medal for touching the finish line in 2nd place in the 400m race.
The trip to Negri Sembilan was as memorable for Secondary 5 student-athlete Abdul Raqib Abdul Razak. Raqib did well in the Men's 110m hurdles event, earning a silver medal while achieving his personal best and season-best timing.
Alumna Kerstin Ong, an Asian Games representative, also returned with a gold medal in the Women’s 100m hurdles.
