Singapore Junior Cup 2024 and Singapore Senior Trials
Our fencers have had an extraordinary season and continued demonstrating their flair for fencing across two competitions - the Singapore Junior Cup 2024 and the Singapore Senior Trials 2024. After rounds of intense bouts, our student-athletes athletes brought home an impressive array of medals and podium finishes.
At the Singapore Junior Cup 2024, held from 21 to 22 September 2024, our fencers showed great promise, taking home 2 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Special recognition goes to Juliet Heng and Aan Rohan Leo, who claimed first place in the Junior Women’s Sabre and Junior Men’s Sabre events respectively.
Other notable podium finishes include Esther Tan, Jae Lim, Cevin Sun, Benjamin Lee, Azfar Luqman Ong, Sean Ho, Josiah Liang, and Marcus Maximilian Tan, who all contributed to the team’s medal tally.
At the Singapore Senior Trials on 28 September 2024, our fencers stepped up to the challenge again, securing a total of 4 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Sean Ho again took to the podium after claiming victory in the Men’s Foil, while Si To Jian Tong triumphed in the Men’s Epee. In the Men’s Sabre, Dan Wei Zuo took the top spot, and Esther Tan emerged as the champion in the Women’s Epee.
