Track Teen Star Tia Wins EA Recognition

Joseph Schooling Sports Grant

Track and Field alumna Tia Louise Rozario is the first recipient of the Joseph School Sports Grant, presented by the Eurasian Association, on 2 March 2019.

Tia, 18, had won the Girls’ 80m Hurdles in the “C”, “B” and “A” Divisions at the Inter-Primary School Track and Field Championships, and continued to conquer the hurdles over 100m in the secondary and post-secondary levels of the “C”, “B” and “A” Divisions at the National Schools Track and Field Championships, from 2010 to 2018.

Tia has been accepted at Princeton University, New Jersey, USA. The $5,000 Joseph Schooling Sports Grant is presented to talented Eurasians who excel in both sport and studies.
