Talent Exchange At International Competitions
Meyton Cup, H&N Cup
2025 started with a bang for 13 shooters who delivered impressive performances at the Meyton Cup held in Innsbruck, Austria, from 17 to 19 January 2025. The outing in Austria offered a unique opportunity for them to face off against some of the best youth shooters from across Europe, as well as competitors from the USA and Australia.
For half of the team, this also marked their first-ever competition in Europe, an eye-opening experience that tested not only their shooting skills but also their adaptability in an international setting.
The three-day competition was nothing short of challenging, as the team had to adjust to new conditions, compete against top-tier athletes, and perform under the pressure of representing their country on the global stage. Despite the challenges, our shooters delivered commendable results, capturing top 3 finishes in both the Air Rifle and Pistol events across the three days. This included a first-place finish by Clarice Lee in the 10m Air Pistol Women’s Junior on both the second and third day, as well as a first-place finish by Jillian Su in the 10m Air Rifle Women’s Junior event on the second day.
After the exhilarating experience in Austria, our youth shooters and 4 alumni quickly shifted gears to the H&N Cup, held in Munich from 21 to 26 January 2025. Once again, our team rose to the occasion, showing their mettle and determination as they took on shooters from around the globe. While the competition was tough, it was also a remarkable opportunity for growth, both in terms of shooting technique and mental toughness.
