Post-Exam Activities

With exams behind them, our student-athletes immersed themselves in an exciting lineup of post-exam activities, from arts and cultural programmes, inter-class games, and multi-sport experiences. These activities, held from 29 October to 6 November 2024, offered them a unique opportunity to explore new talents and passions, and strengthen their bonds with their friends. The celebration culminated on 7 November with a memorable Awards Ceremony to mark the end of the school year, as staff and student-athletes gathered in the auditorium to honour the achievements of our student-athletes in academics, sports and character.



What better way to appreciate a new culture than by experiencing it first hand? Our Secondary 1 student-athletes kicked off their post-exam fun with a hands-on exploration of Indian cultural activities, including playing the traditional "Aadu Puli Aatam" (tiger and goat game), learning traditional Indian dance moves, and the rhythmic beats of Indian drums. It was an exciting and immersive way to learn about the rich heritage of Indian culture.

They also had the chance to learn and play the Angklung, as well as experience the Dragon and Lion Dance, as part of their arts and cultural programmes.

Meanwhile, the Secondary 2 student-athletes unleashed their musical talent during a songwriting workshop, while also exploring the rhythms of the cajon and the melodies of the ukulele.

The Secondary 3 student-athletes put on their creative hat to design their own custom tote bag in the Tote bag Screen Printing Workshop.

They also showcased their artistic skills in metal tooling, an intricate art form where they crafted detailed designs on metal sheets.

The fun didn’t stop there! They headed outside of school to the Singapore River, where they learnt about the rich heritage of Singapore’s history.

The Secondary 4 and 5 student-athletes also got in on the fun with an exciting Outdoor Escape Room challenge at Jewel Changi Airport. They even had the opportunity to realise their pop star dreams, jamming to their heart’s content at the Team Band workshop.

Raising their heartbeat further, our student-athletes took part in the interclass games, competing in sports such as netball, softball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, football and track and field.

They also had the opportunity to explore a variety of sports through the Multi-Sport Experience, an annual programme designed to help student-athletes discover new talents and strengths. The sports on offer included beach volleyball, bouldering, canoe sprint, cricket, e-cycling, rowing, sambo, triathlon, water polo, and wrestling.

In recognition of their dedication and growth throughout the year, student-athletes who excelled in academics, sports, and character were celebrated at the Awards Ceremony on 7 November. The ceremony also featured the induction of our new Secondary 1 student leaders.
