Shooters Shone On The Range
Shooting: Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup, NUS Invitational Shoot
Despite the hot and humid conditions at the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup, both past and present shooters delivered an outstanding performance. Held over two weeks from 9 to 21 February 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, Team Sports School contributed 6 medals (2 gold and 4 silver) to Team Singapore’s overall tally of 9 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze). This strong showing secured Singapore a third-place finish out of 15 nations in the overall medal standings.
The dynamic duo of Eston Soo and Lee Zhe Kai showcased precision, composure, and an undeniable winning spirit to secure gold in the 10m Air Rifle Men's Junior Team event.

Beyond our student-athletes, pistol coach Teh Xiu Yi clinched the silver medal in the 25m Pistol Women’s event.
Back on home turf, our shooters made their mark at the NUS Invitational Shoot held from 23 to 26 February 2025, bringing home an astounding 19 medals (7 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze). Over at the Men’s 10m Air Rifle (Open) event, Tang Hong An and Eston Soo demonstrated world-class marksmanship, taking the top two podium spots.
Not to be outdone, our pistol shooters proved just as dominant. In the 10m Air Pistol Women (School Individual) event, Quek Gek Ling, Samantha Cheng, and Rinnah Lau completed an incredible sweep, each claiming a gold, silver, and bronze medal respectively. On the men’s side, Rayfield Tay and Adrian Osman delivered a commanding performance, securing the gold and silver in the 10m Air Pistol Men (School Individual) event.
